Jim: You mean the Broadway Limited I think. The Capitol Limited was a B&O train that would also sell well but did not use GG1s (as far as I know).
Don't be so sure. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a B&O modeler out there right now thinking about replacing DGLE and gold with blue and yellow, complete with a Capital dome in place of the Keystone. :shade:
GG1 in Daylight Colors....What.....What? It looks like Kato covered both coasts with this offering. Now let's see if I paint the GG1 into Daylight Colors and tie a Vanderbilt tender on behind, followed by the daylight consist and the NYC observation on the end. Wonder what kind of reaction I would get? >:-0 Edited add on: If you truly know anything about me you'd know this is pure-O-D sarcasm. There's no way I would go to the trouble of painting a GG1 in daylight colors. If I rattled your cage a little...I was just funning around.
Would it not have been great if Kato would have found away to introduce sound to this great offering.
Weird that they used a picture of Thrall cars to plug the Maxi-IV. WRONG PROTOTYPE! Baffling, actually. I wonder what the containers will be. I guess we can't assume anything by the picture.
