Can anyone direct me to a source for a KATO SM-5 motor? Guess I should have posted this photo from a 1990 KATO catalog. I think KATO used these motors for domestic steamers. Thanks Al
SM or GM-5? The GM-5 is basically the same motor as most of their diesels with longer pickup tabs on it. Picked up some spare Mikado chassis on the last sale they had just to get the motors. Buying the chassis was the same cost as buying only replacement motors.
