I know some of said they heard this in email responses from Kato, but the following now appears right on the Kato website regarding the 70MACS.... "All of these models will feature our popular White LED Headlight, magnetic knuckle couplers, printed numberboard, MU hose detail, a powerful five-pole motor with dual brass flywheels, and a DCC-friendly mechanism.
