Been modeling N scale for a long time now, just started working on the layout again. I decided enough with the boring coffee table, time to build Z scale on it! I model modern CP Rail in N, so I am going with early 60's Pennsylvania. Some of my track and switches have come in, so I'll be starting on the base soon. I'll be busy for sure, working on N and Z scale layouts at the same time!
You will enjoy yourself. I got into Z around 2004 and have not really done much with N since. Z is very addictive. We have some very helpful folks here so anything you might need to ask someone will have an opinion. By the way the selection for CP is not bad, GP 38 and SD 40's. All the best to you.
Welcome to z scale and probably one of the most active model train forums around. Hope you enjoy the ride as much as I have it's "Zensational"
