This is probably a question that is best answered by Paul Bender.

Would anyone know if it is possible to export a coma delimited file out of Decoder Pro, or be able to advise where and in what format the data is stored for each decoder equipped locomotive.

I probably could spend some time investigating this, have other items to do so I thought somebody might know.

The data files are all XML files. It isn't currently possible to export them to a coma delimited file.

The data files are generally stored in a subdirectory of whatever directory your operating system defines as your user's "home" directory. The data definition files are contained in a subdirectory of the JMRI installation directory.

    I hope this helps,

    Certainly.

Also, you should even be able to get the data into the format you want using an XSLT transformation, which would simplify your parsing efforts. You'll need to know a little about XML to be able to do this however.

I have a xml data parser program that should do the job.
