Well we are back from another weekend, I hope you all had a good one. Let's see how we did.

Saturday: Nothing, none, nadda, zip, zilch. I had a very long and exhausting day which included ripping out a metal ceiling on the front porch, ripping carpet to reveal hardwood floors in the living room, cleaning out the garden shed, mowing the lawn and doing repairs wherever they were needed. From 5:00am to 11:00pm, it was none stop house and yard work.

Sunday: The same as Saturday. I completely forgot that it was Mother's Day so while we did have a nice family cook out, it was still busy. By the time I had some free time to work on trains, it was 9:30 at night and I decided a nice way to unwind from a busy weekend was to lie down and listen to some Led Zeppelin and Gretta Van Fleet.

I hope you got more done. Let us know what you did. We'll be back again on Friday the 18th to start off another weekend. Until then, stay safe, have a good week and as always...

    High Greens!

^ You're a laid back guy if you can lie down and listen to Zep'. Usually has me bouncing off the walls...(in a good way). Love some Zep.

This weekend I didn't get all done I wanted. Wiring/circuiting took all weekend. Separating all of the block wiring out so it only touches other wiring for very short runs or at 90deg crossing after going through current transformer. This is to keep false readings across blocks. So far, so good. The blocks I have separated are working perfectly. I have 2 more to "sort out" and this phase of wiring will be over.

Friday I started to finish the rolling stock kits I painted up last week. I was able to complete two of them. When I went to work on a third I found that my lazy self of not completing them two years ago had lost a few parts, namely a set of trucks, a coulpler and coupler box cover. I did find in the mess the roof walk for one of the caboose I painted.

Sunday being Mother’s Day is didn’t do much until after supper when I took my some and we started to clean the train room. I haven’t done that for a while. I did find the missing truck and the screw I lost to my turntable last month but nothing else. So time to use other parts I have laying around.

Today I will install a circuit breaker and run some buss wires for the round house and turn table right after I visit my LHS and pick up a structure kit I ordered. Should be the last for a while. In fact I figured I was done ordering supplies until September. Nope I was wrong. I don’t have enough decals for the rolling stock and looks like I need a couple decoders. So decals later this week and decoders by the end of summer.

I managed to get a bit done.

My E-7B project is progressing. Next: Paint the stirrups, clear coat with some light weathering - then add window glazing.
