Twas the last few days before Christmas and all through the workshop, not a critter was stirring, not even a Morse....Except for me. AGH! Christmas is here in two days, I hope you're ready! Saturday: The dealership was busy, very busy as the end of the year is when a lot of folks who have been putting off getting a newer vehicle, come in for those deals. I ended the day with a nice date with my sweetheart at our favorite German restaurant for a Christmas Dinner Date. Sunday: I had to do Christmas shopping. I still have more to do, but I got the big stuff done and relaxed the rest of the day by wrapping and thinking fondly of my layout. I hope to be back at it in a few weeks. So how about you? Did you get all the shopping done? Did you get any time to work on trains? Let us know. We'll assemble again on Friday the 27th to see if we survived and to start off another weekend for the last big push before entering 2020. Until then, have a happy and safe Holiday Season and... HAPPY HANUKKAH! MERRY CHRISTMAS! & HIGH GREENS!
Did some further measuring, and decided the T-Trak module base I originally planned to use for my turntable, was just not the best option. Am going to order a different size. Now to re-plan the track....
Wow, it's Monday already. Where did the weekend go so fast? Oh well, I did get some of what I planned done over the weekend. Finished the shelves on one side of the closet in the train room sand then worked on more scenery. Pics in the JPT sub thread in the N scale section. Merry Christmas to all!
That's the exact same issue I am having, I want to put my turntable on a T-Trak-Z module, and am having fit issues. Still thinking about how to deal with this issue.
What makes my problem even worse, is that I am modeling in HOn30. And atop it all, I need to somehow find a usable HO scale two or three stall roundhouse, which fits a poverty budget. Not anything large, nor masonry. A small wooden structure, which I'd suppose could be just an engine house, but not "round". However, I cannot think of anything I ever ever seen that is more than two stalls, and not huge.... Think of the Maine Two Footers.....
I was able to begin dimensioning the Murphysboro passenger depot. The rest of the time was "homework" or family Christmas get together. In case I did not say it already, Merry Christmas!
After an up and down weekend -- wrestling a darn cold -- I managed to complete an F3 set (Today). Hope Y'all had a great weekend!! Wolf
