Well here we are again, are you ready for the weekend? Saturday: Is graduation day for a certain step son. In fact, today he signs his letter of intent to an Illinois college then tomorrow its graduation. He grew up fast. That means Saturday morning will be the only time I have in the work shop getting ready for next weekend's Ohio N Scale weekend. The rest of the day will be spent with time at the school and a soccer field. Sunday: Jared has one more soccer game that I will attend, mainly because I don't know when I'll get to see him play again. The down time will be spent working on the modules and the sales table for the Ohio show. Seams hard to believe that this show is next weekend, followed by a quick trip out east then a Galesburg and a move. Wow time sure goes fast. So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We'll come back here on Monday the 15th to see what we accomplished. Until then, have fun, stay safe and as always... High Greens!
Tomorrow I will be working on Highway 101. Been putting it off way to long. Got to get that project behind me. For Sunday -- my Wife will dictate what happens that day. God bless her!! Hope ya'll have an outstanding weekend, Wolf

This weekend is the 15th Team America Rocketry Challenge, aka "The World's Biggest Rocket Contest". I'm part of the range crew for this, and we've got 102 student teams from all over the US competing in the finals, plus a visiting team from the Ukraine. Safety briefing tonight, and because the forecast is rain all night and into the morning, I expect we'll postpone the event to Sunday. So I might get some train time in tomorrow. If the contest goes off as scheduled then Sunday will be strictly a recovery day. I have to be at the field and ready to go at 6:15am and won't get home until probably around 7pm. It's a long day, but a highlight of my year and a really rewarding time.
This weekend I plan on working on the 200' CVM Parker Truss Bridge. I think I can finish it with only the track to install. With some smooth sailing, may even get the track and guardrails tacked down. Also, plan on getting in hidden track that takes trains through behind the main city on the layout. In otherwords, I plan this weekend to make up for not being in town LAST weekend.
Mm .. once again trying to get that ballast down on the final yard tracks. It's supposed to rain a goodly portion of this weekend, so that should mean more time spent inside...
Completed the track lay in the coal and ethanol plant yards, now to finish off the last 4 turnout controls (Tortoise and Caboose Powered ground throws) weather the tracks and then on to the main yard and then intermodal yard...(weeks of track work ahead). Once those last 2 sections are complete it's on to the entire layout scenery plan...
