Can you all believe it's December? My yearly MTH Christmas train boxcar for 2016 came in so it must be Christmas season. Good news / bad news over the week. Good was I got a raise and became a full time employee at the shop that I have been working at for just over a year. That is good but it does affect the painting in the shop. So my weekends will be a lot busier as I try to get custom paint orders out the door before the big move in 2017. Saturday, I'll be northbound to Galesburg again. There is a train show up there in the Carl Sandburg Mall from 10:00 to 3:00. I'm bringing a bunch of custom work as well as some other items I no longer need nor wish to move. After the show, I'm going to try and race down to what was once Butler and get some more photos for documentation, specifically of the former Galesburg Soy elevator as I want to start construction of that module early in the year. Sunday will be the day I work on custom paint. I have decals I need to build in the computer for my O scale buddy and I also need to work on switch lists for next weeks Christmas party I'm having for the guys who are part of my prototype group. More wiring this weekend. Time permitting from Christmas decorating chores, I may get some more plywood and track down.
Not sure about this weekend - modeling wise. I suspect I will be assisting in putting up Christmas decorations. And - that's OK. If I am able to get up in my train room... I will continue with ballasting. Hope ya'll have an outstanding and productive weekend, Wolf
