Welcome back from the weekend and also the first day of Fall. I hope you had a good weekend. Let’s see how it turned out.

Saturday: Was day one of the Decatur show and since the B&M layout was taken, set up was pretty quick. I was set up next to my club, N Scale of Bloomington Normal and their T-Trak set up. I guess the B&M layout is almost a T-Trak hybrid as I use the T-Trak modules but use code 55 track. It was a bit solemn however, one of our friends from the St. Louis area who participated in almost all of our shows, passed away shortly before the show. His modules and vest were set up to pay tribute to his many contributions to the N scale community. He will certainly be missed.

Sunday: Another day of running trains. I was very impressed with a switching layout built by a young man of 20. His Illinois Central switching layout was impressive. He told me that he was inspired by my Galesburg City Job layout to build his HO layout which also features an eye level view. It’s always refreshing to see younger people who are passionate about the hobby.

So how about you? How was your weekend? Let us know. We’ll assemble again on Friday the 27th to start the process all over again. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

We had a wonderful and exhausting weekend. We had our Granddaughter. So, we had to keep her entertained.
Only down side. (If I even want to say that) -- no MRRing. Oh well, my F3 project can wait. Perhaps I can get a little done this coming weekend. But, doubtful. We have Lorelei again Friday evening and most of Saturday. Then I have to get ready for my camping trip next week.

Hope Y'all had a great weekend!!

I built a structure but then I did t like the outcome so I need to start over.

Saturday I attended the local NMRA meeting and received three certs. I need to find a place on the wall to hang them now.
