Well we are back to that day of the week where we sit and discuss what we plan on getting done over the weekend. Let’s see where this takes us. Saturday: Well if you remember correctly, last weekend wasn’t very good in the accomplishment category, in fact I was lazy all day Sunday. Well turns out I now know why I was so lazy. By Monday a tickle and a cough which turned into sneezing later that night. I spent all of Tuesday and Wednesday in bed and while I went back to work on Thursday, I still did not feel any better. So my current goal is to grit my teeth and bear it through another work day so I can sleep all day Saturday. Sunday: I was looking forward to going to the Peoria train show with a good friend of mine, but unless I feel better, it may just be another day spent sleeping. I’m not sure what my wife brought home to me last week, but it is one of the worse colds I have ever had. Hopefully I’ll be over this soon. So how about you? What is on your list of plans for the weekend? Let us know. We’ll come back on Monday the 19th and see how we, or rather, you have all done. Until then... High Greens!
Hopefully the last weekend of Girl Scout Cookie sales....one daughter is at 780 boxes and the other is at 768...their goal is 800....we have 80 boxes in the house to move
Saturday: Get silver paint on the noses of my F7's. Mess around with the speakers for them. Getting this sound decoder thing under control. Decal another F7B -- Mess with my steam fleet. Have some problem children to sort out. Perhaps start work on my S-12 or new SW-1 projects. We'll see. We have our Granddaughter -- so...... Sunday: Mask the silver and get some black paint on the F7A-B-B-A set. And -- The Daytona 500 --- here we go, another Nascar season has started. Hope Y'all have a great weekend!! Wolf
Continue to study my track plan for my new N Scale road to see where I'll want to place blocks. I'm an old DC guy.
I am practicing my scratchbuilding skills, so I am working on a tow truck bed for a mini metals truck. I have a lot of painting to do, but i have to wait for weather to warm up to get in the garage.
just when I thought that we could hang out....I am waiting for the start of the IndyCar season at St. Petersburg. No taxi cabs for me.
Selling N scale at the Saline Michigan Train Show. New locos $65 in original box. Come all ye faithful.
I plopped my Nn3 turnout on the display layout and realized I did not start the diverging track radius as close to the frog as I needed to. I'll be reworking a turnout before laying track.
Taxi cabs! Now that there is funny! I'd go for a ride in one of them taxi's! Hopefully I will get that 2-6-6-2 fixed up.
I've been working nights and getting up around 10:00am. Since it snowed last night I made plans to get up early today and work on trains and catch the sunrise. [ Got settled in the shop just in time for the show. I must be related to Ultraman, need the sun to recharge. Now if I can only get the divdiverging track of this turnout flow smoothly!
Today I started ballasting and just kept going. This corner is looking better already. All that is left is a short piece of track I can’t reach and to add black ballast all over the coal pile. Then a little static grass, drop the mountain in its spot and add trees an then a few minor details and wallah— done.
