Didn't know for sure where to put this, but here looked as good as any.......... I am familiar with "Arizona Rock & Mineral Co." ballast, and it is a great product, but I wondered if there might be a less pricey alternative, while still being rock & workable for N scale??

Another place is: SMITH BALLAST/ 13630 GAR HWY (RT6)/CHARDON, OH 44024 Send an SSAE for information. I have not used this type of ballast, but received the price list at the N-Scale Weekend last year. There are several different suppliers of Model Railroad ballast and loook around to find one that fills your needs.
