Does anyone (perhaps a Chantilly attendee) have any sense of when the Intermountain F3's might hit the market?

    Last I heard, this fall.

I suspect after the long delays with the other locos, they will announce a date when they are only 30-60 days out.

I talked to the IM rep at the show (Marty?). He said F3's could be expected "Fall". Also that WP might get moved up into the first group, depending on demand.

BTW, the undecorated shells on display (both Phase I and Phase II) looked quite nice.

I had just bought a Kato AB set and sorta wished I had waited, but WTH, Katos are good too. Now if only I could get another B unit....

...........when I inquired about the KCS units......Matt with IMRC commented that the F-3's and SD45T-2's COULD be concurently released - at ABOUT the same time in the 'fall'.

This is going to be a very expensive fall and winter.... Kato Zephyr and now IMRC might do some of the most desired F3's first... oh... boy...

SD45T-2's? Well yeah. I reckon you gotta have those before we can get our SD45-2's! The way it's going, my heirs will collect the locos I'm waitin' on after I'm gone! [IMG] :D
Speakin' of F units, I wonder how long 'til the F7's?
