Hi, I have an 80' turntable installed and it runs off a basic motor which, right now, I've got connected to a DCC decoder. There is no indexing capability here and the turntable has some slop in the turning mechanism so that manual adjustment and alignment is required every time I use the thing. Does anyone sell an indexing kit that I could install on this thing? Seems like I've seen mention of a 90' turntable w/indexing kit. I'm wondering if something like that would work. ....Tom
I see a couple different options. One is that you could get a Walthers turntable and take the indexing and motor controls from it. Another would be to look at the indexing mechanism that Republic Locomotive Works makes. Neither of these is exactly a cheap option.
