The old sugar refinery property that I based my NTRAK modules on has been sold. The developer has pledged to preserve the landmark brick "Char filter house" and the old water tower. http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/business/3047139
Russ Speaking of the sugar mill, I could have sworn that you recently posted an old aerial photo of the area of the sugar mill and a comparison shot of your module from about the same angle. But I haven't been able to locate such a post, nor could I find it in your home page or railimages album. I did find an aerial shot of the cotton gin and your module of the gin on your railimages album. So was I just imagining that you did something similar with shots of the sugar mill, or just confusing it with the cotton gin? Regards Ed
Was it these two? You can kind of see where I had to compress the model to get as much of it in as I could.
Yup, that's it. Thanks a lot for the shots and the quick reply. Think I mentioned it before, but if I didn't I just want to mention that I saw your work at the museum in Rosenberg a couple of years ago. That's really great work. The photos don't do it justice. Regards Ed
