Very cool!!!! I've watched you build the park over on atlas and it is a very good looking rail-fanning park!!!!! Have you ever been to the really park? I live about 4 hrs. away(I think) and I really wanna get up there and railfan for a while. Great work!!! Happy Rails, Rick
Daryl, The installation of people makes the scene so much more realistic, where did yopu purchase the people from? Were they painted or have you pianted them individually?
Looks great. People really add a lot to a scene and make it come alive. If only we could get them to walk around. Our NTRAK club had some "People Painting Parties" where we all sat around and chopped up Prizer figures and glued them together to make two baseball teams. Then we painted them up along with a bunch of spectators. We built a base ball park and loaded it with our efforts. A team from Galveston must have rode up on a bus to play the local Rosenberg team.
Colonel, They are from Woodland Scenics, which IMHO are as nice as the Prieslers but cost less. Daryl
WOW! Great job! You mentioned on another thread a while back about a gift shop? What all was in that gift shop, and how is yours coming along?
Its been a while since I've been in the gift shop. Its has prototype memoribilia, videos, a few HO and O scale models, and, I think, sandwiches. I have not started scratch building the giftshop, but will soon. I need to take some measurements of the giftshop, but have hesitated since the proprietor and I don't get along real well. He threaten to call the police on me once because he thought I was driving too fast in the parking lot and I told him he was full of it. He'll likely call homeland security on me if he sees me measuring the giftshop. Daryl
DarylK, That looks great!!! Russel, The baseball field is awesome. Makes me want to add one to my layout.
