I hope this is the right place to post this, if not I appolgize and you can delete this thread. I would love to try to do this Guilford engine with the former Boston & Maine blue showing. My question is how do I try to do this? I couldn't even imagine where to start, so any help would be welcomed.
That looks like a tough project but I would start with the loco painted and lettered in the original blue scheme and then paint the second color over it. Quickly wipe off sections of the still wet second color to expose the blue. Weathering will be the key to pulling this off. Just a thought.
