Great looking stuff, guys! John, looks like you have 'FM fever', a good condition to be in...terrific photographs, including that wide shot of the reefer block. Nice work, amigo!
The Santa Fe side of the old Union Depot in Rosenberg, Texas. I built the depot for my buddy to put on his NTRAK modules.
Great stuff, everyone!! Here's my contribution. Pure ATSF (if you can ignore the BNSF grafitti ) Russ
Verne, love that shot with #2925!! Here's a recycled shot, taken at the Belmont Shore club way long ago...
Great thread! I'm surprised no one started this one sooner! Here's some Santa Fe action at Walong siding (aka the Loop) in the Tehachapis - an eastbound Santa Fe 991 piggyback train on it's way from Richmond CA to Chicago crosses over itself on the main as an SP manifest takes the siding to make way.
Here's one I can add. The trailing unit I just finished couplers, decoder and handrail paint. Pair of U30C's in pre '72 paint.
Never Before Has So Little Been Hauled By So Many .. Apologies to Sir William Churchill. (Sorry about the lighting) That's my entire DCC stable to date, struggling with one very heavy covered hopper.
Sitchad, love those U30C's I'm actually after a couple myself but to repaint to MOPAC Love all the ATSF action guys keep them coming
Hi Jerry. The top one, 554 is at Sacramento in 1991. At the time I think it was brand new. The other one, about to be retired in 1991, was a little further south. It was part of a steam excursion (hint).
