You are right, it sure is super! LOL my brain was focusing on it being an elongated dome in the same style as their current cars, more than referring to the car as a whole. I was lucky enough to see one of these Observation cars in person some time ago, made a youtube video about it! Somebody else in California spotted some Milwaukee varnish in the weeks just prior, different cars though!
If you like the Superdome, Kato is also apparently doing a fully lighted version of the train, . That youtube video looks like a different paint scheme. Not sure if that is original to the Milwaukee Road.
You better believe I'm placing my order for the new Kato hiawatha TODAY! They arrived at retailers yesterday afternoon! I'm driving down to pick up my Hiawatha locos tomorrow morning as well, FP7/F7B from Intermountain. I'll light the cars myself, as Kato's lighting kits are.... meh. I'm going to use DCC lighting decoders and 12v warm white LED strips in the ceiling (better light distribution!)
