Good or no good? Railpictures doesn't like photos without sunlight. CP rail just about to come onto the island of montreal. It was a cold afternoon.
I like the second one a little more. Yes, sunlight in the picture and on the subject help a lot, but hey, if the picture works, it works. Welcome aboard, and be sure to check out RailImages and TrainBlog.
I like them both for different reasons....#1 emphasizes a massive colorful locomotive on an otherwise cold raw winter day, whereas #2 is a panoramic view of railroad infrastructure with the lift span towers providing impressive depth. Also, having spent too many cold raw winter days in New Hampshire, both scenes remind me of why I like the sun and warmth of the Gulf Coast in mid-winter......:tb-biggrin:
Very nice--Rail Images is free, and they don't censor your submissions... :lightbulb: I was denied the first and only time I submitted a photo to RP.net. It was a rare engine, too.
Edit add: Where are my manners. Nice photos both of them and welcome to Train Board. With some of the photos I upload it is good that Rail Images doesn't censor:thumbs_up:
both of them are nice i like when they are running in a fresh two feet of snow and blast through crossings runing the ssnowplowers job and sometimes leaving drivers stranded anyways NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
