    but I'm going to do it in Kato Unitrack:

    anyone know what pieces to use for the unitrack...specifically the turnouts....

    also....are all these pieces available by Kato or am I going to run into some issues????

    Kato track is similar to the Atlas track. The Kato track can always be cut to suit the plan using a razorback saw.

    You use Kato # 6 turnouts (R&L).

    BTW, you might want to use the Kato #4 turnouts instead of the #6 ones. The Atlas 2700 and 2701 turnouts have 19" radius curves on the diverging route. This matches the Kato #4 turnout. The Kato #6 turnout has a 28 1/4" radius on the diverging route.

    The 45° Crossing is the only piece you might have trouble finding. I think Kato only makes 15° Crossings in N scale Unitrack.
