Hi, I' Daniel and I model HO scale modern BNSF (circa 2009); although I don't have a home pike (other than a meter long test track); instead i am a member of a local club and I also help my father who inherited my grandfather's DB and DRG material (also HO). Currently I've been quite busy converting those german locos to DCC, since dad knows plenty of benchwork, tracklaying and wiring but close to nothing in eletronics. Hope to learn plenty here. Hi Daniel, Welcome to the TrainBoard, glad that you are on board. What you have between you and your dad sounds like a good blend. I'm sure there are folks on the TrainBoard who will be happy to fill in the gaps.
Always a good day when we cam count a new international friend. And I'll agree with some of what's been said, sounds like quite a varied collection - hope you'll share some photos!
