Howdy everyone! I've been hooked on Z scale since my wife came home with a Marklin set 19 years ago. I spent a few years in TT, but Z called me back. American Flyer is another interest since my mother-in-law gave me her passenger train set. It still runs great for a 59 year old model. Looking forward to learning from you.
Welcome to TrainBoard! We have a good group of Z folks to learn from, and share with, so hop in and have some fun.
Z and American Flyer - now there's a pair! The oldies could make a cool Christmas Tree border...We're certainly glad to have you along, and I'll echo that we have some very active Z scale folks here. Have fun!
Welcome aboard, ZacsTrain. Keep us informed of your progress. I would like to see a photo of your American Flyer train.
Welcome North Texas podnah, from a South Texas model railroader. Are your Z trains Americanisher prototypes or Europeanisher? Do you model the Great State of Texas?
Thanks all. Fitz, attached are some pics of my AF train. It's a New York Central system 4-6-4. Kenneth, right now most of my stuff is Europeanish, but I'm also starting an North American collection. I have a freelance European 2'x4' layout that I started years ago, but haven't been able to work on it until recently due school and work. -Jon
