    Hi, nice looking forum!

I am helping my father in law out with his train....his setup is roughly 15'w x 25' long! He's been at if for a long, long time...I am a hobby electronics enthusiast, and see many places where his rig can be improved by using electronic signals, sensing circuits and the like.

He's pretty "old school" right now, and after showing him some things, I've decided to find a forum, like this one, where I can drop by to see what you guys have for setups, and ask some questions of those who have boldly gone before.

    Thanks!

    ~Mike

Hi Mike, Welcome to the Train Board, glad to have you on board. Your Father-in-Law might want to come on board also. I'm sure he'd make a bunch of friends also.
