I went to the GAT show this weekend. I didn't find everything I was looking for but there were lots of layouts to look at. I have a full report posted on my Train Shows pages, but here are a few photos: After arriving early and waiting in line, we finally get in. It's instantly crowded. There were lots of N-Scale layouts HO-Scale Circus layouts too! TY-Scale Layouts (1:900) And N-Trak Club Modules:
it was up here 2 weekends ago, puyallup wa. I went with my wife and 5 yr old. Boy did he dig it!!! I TOO!!! Not as large as last year, many of the sellers said the booth fee was up and the operation hours shortened (11-5). I walked out with my impossible to find EMD GP-60 DEMO scheme, for 20.00. NICE. Also a GP50 (CNW) for 20.00, and hlf dozen cars for about $4 each. Not a bad day. I am only bummed that everything i bought is now in a cardboard box waiting for a ship to take it to OKINAWA. Lastly the 3 local vendors were there and didn't move any of there "clearance" stuff, so more goodies for me on Last Monday.
I must say....aren't train people the most fashionable people on earth!!! I Love IT!!!!We have inividuality, and we aren't afraid to flaunt it! Hehheee! I haven't been to a good train show in a really long time, I think I need to go to one soon!
He He, I realised the High Style us train guys strut in myself this weekend! I had just finished 2 years of introverted hermit life before going to this trainshow, and when I got there I comfortably found myself in my own element! I promised my wife I would get out more, so I'm going to the PCR Coast Division meet nest weekend. I need to auction off my old train videos, so I can buy a bunch of new ones.
