If you read any of the steam and railfan stuff lately you know my 10 year old grandson Austin went to the Grand Canyon with me a couple of weeks ago for the 3751 NRHS steam specials. That little guy is going to be a foamer. He sent me his pictures today, and darned if he didn't take a shot of old grandpa. I'm putting it on here so you can print it, place it on the toilet seat cover, etc. The REAL reason is to show off my little buddy's photo skills. [IMG]

Your G-Son has one very good eye for framing and presentation ... although I can't say much for his choice of subject matter .... [IMG] [IMG]

P.S., You now owe me for one new 19" monitor! My current one just blew out its coils trying to focus this latest image! [IMG] :D

Hank, LOL!! I'll send you a new monitor. All I can say is I hope any of you up there at (our, Hank) age has an opportunity to take a grandson on a trip like this. It was great. We really got to know each other. How else are the kids going to learn? He read aloud to me some of his homework assignments, and believe me, they aren't learning the truth. :(

On my tours of the Danbury Railway Museum I often have grandparents bringing in their grandchildren. They are some of my most enjoyable tours. I love the kids and the GPs reactions when I let the youngsters pull a coupler lever or ring a steam engine bell.
