The back cover of the instruction booklet for my BLI E8's says "much more to come", but like someone else said, unless they've drastically changed their marketing and production methods I think they can be ruled out. Didn't you just hate those kids at school who would say, "I know a secret, but I can't tell, nah, nah".
Alright, I'll give................... It is being made by Professor Plumb...........in the parlor....using a candle stick............... I swear..................really........................:tb-biggrin:
I think there are some differences between railroads... The only differences I know of is the rear headlight positioning. vertical and horizontal and then mounted low in the back or in the traditional position...
What about Exactrail? I know they just announced their next boxcars, but I wouldn't put an engine past them...especially with their policy of announcing things that are already in their warehouse. Brian
BLMA isn't on this list. Also wouldn't that be a good idea for BLMA to have the host of Extreme Trains at his booth at the NMRA convention in CT to atract people to their booth. Would this mean that it is a mutiple scale release?
While I hope great things for BLMA I would have to think a multi scale release on a first loco would be too much for anyone to take on.
I know who it is, due to a "no comment" comment I got from one of the people not on the list. If what I am almost sure is correct, I'll second the opinion few people will be disappointed. It may even have sound...
It won't be multi scale HO already have a GEVO - it's N scale only I believe ... but then I again I could be wrong............:tb-biggrin:
BOMBSHELL ALERT: A lot of people know about ONE GEVO from a particular company. But there could be TWO. N-Scale North American Locomotives - KATO USA : Precision Railroad Models The "Coming Soon" which is conveniently located where a GE GEVO or GE ES44AC would be indexed - WAS JUST ADDED - BECAUSE IT DOES NOT SHOW IN THE MOST RECENT GOOGLE CACHE OF THE PAGE. Yes, folks, Kato may be doing one too - in which case an announcement might not come until the NTS. Which means the NSR ad may have been intended to scare Kato.
hmmmm I doubt we'd be that lucky, could it be a collaboration between an established manufacturer and a newbie? If there's really two then you guys might get another shock unless Exactrail is having some fun with us. I'm sure they read the forums.
uh, if there was something there it's gone now... ...really, I don't know what I can't stand more: The anticipation, or the knowledge I can't really afford one of these locos!
