Cool, I was there on my 18th birthday. I even touched the wheels of the "Big Boy" and bought a railroad spike which I still have today. I used it to drive the brads on my 1st layout and use it today as a hammer, ice breaker, (conversation piece), ice breaker, (chopping it off of side walks), and all round handy tool.
There's a video out there, saw it many years ago. Believe it was a Green Frog. But I could be wrong. Maybe WB Video? Anyhow, it shows a ride on a steam engine, pushing that flanger up the Creede branch. Really was a fascinating viewpoint. Boxcab E50

The shop crews had some fun with MNN plow 50994. Seen Oct 04 by Christopher Muller in Crookston" From: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~rrclubum/mnn.htm
