Forced to change email address?

    Hi folks.

    I had to change my email address as it said it had failed to send me emails to the address I registered under; I have changed nothing since registration, and still use that email as my primary mail. I had to switch to a different one to be able to even post this question here.

    What gives?

    Is it going to periodically just make me come up with new email addresses? That is pretty odd?

    There is no requirement for a change. From time to time we receive automatic notifications of delivery problems for emails sent from the system (such s notification of new posts to threads you are participating in). If there are no problems from your end, all we would ask is for you to let us know that your address is still good (as by replying to the message).

    It wouldn't let me post or so much of anything until I changed it. If it happens again, I'll try to reply to the email first and see what happens. Thank much!

    Same thing happened to me yesterday Friday nov 30th, luckily I had an iCloud I never use for anything at all.
    Strange as all get out, we were having problems at work with G suite all day as well, but my personal email was fine and receiving emails from other places, and I was getting trainboard thru Thursday evening. No idea what happened but might suggest that as there may possibly be on occasions issues with an email provider, waiting 24-48 hours before locking someone?
