Recieved my Kato UP excursion set today. The UP 844, water cans and passenger cars. However, I need the instructions for the ESU decoder. I have instruction sheet, but it's for an SDP40F. Looked at ESU website. Could NOT find anything helpful. Have not tried looking at Kato site yet. Might try that later. Contacted seller about instructions. Hope he can help also. Aside from that, it's a beautiful set! And this despite my dislike of the UP!! Anyway, any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
"Water cans"? That leaves my ears feeling a bit tender... Is what you're looking for here? http://www.esu.eu/en/downloads/instruction-manuals/digital-decoders/ I must admit that FEF, inferior as it may have been to a 3775 Class or a 2900 when they were still running, produces a soft spot in my fluted stainless steel heart for the Yellow Peril too.
Link does not really help. It's what I looked at earlier. Can't find the information I need! I did find the quick start for the engine, in the box. The SD40F were also included. It's what I saw first, before I actually took engine out of the box.
This is a generic version of the steam file, but most ESU projects follow the same basic template for functions, as shipped. http://projects.esu.eu/projects/print/73417
