My last trip to N Scale Supply was good. Found out that the DRGW T-Motors and my Westinghouse/Schnable transformer car might be arriving in about 2 weeks. An this was about a week ago. So..........Hopefully sometime this week, or early next!! Just waiting for official word that stuff has arrrived and I can come down and pick it up ASAP.
I'd also like to know how these turned out. If they really did fix the QC issues from the earlier ones, I would definitely like to have a D&RGW unit or two.
4Nscale's ( Rio Grande Hobbies ) web site states they got in their first of three shipments. Looks like they are here. Red Rock
We started shipping the tunnel motors out last week and continue to do so daily, as fast as we can get them out. The QC issues have been resolved. Erik
So cool!!!!!! Hoping mine arrive in time to take to NSIG meeting this coming Saturday!! Along wIth my Westinghouse car from OMI. Now, to start adding MT trucks to 31 CSDU hoppers for my CSDPU/CSDU coal train!! Photos of that when the T-Motors arrive!
Only if y'all don't mind CLEAN cars, and matching locomotives!! At least until I decide when I want to get busy and weather stuff!! Have a number of freight cars weathered, and about Half of a regular Rio Grande coal train. And a 3 unit set of factory painted OMI GP60's! This outta make the Brass purists sick: I not only weathered my GP60's, but I've even put 'em on the track and RUN them! Anyway......One CSDU/CSDPU coal train - eventually!
They're shipping out pretty fast. Lil buggers are so quick they won't hold still for the camera. I can say they are gorgeous though.
*drools profusely* I wonder if I could trade my (imfamous--remember the pics on Atlas forum, that started the heated discussion??) SSW unit for another D&RGW???
