Ah yes.. 150's. Many a Sunday night I spent on these tin cans from visiting Matt and yourselves Alan. They sure can go though! As for the 'Pacers', I've seen a few at Lincoln. Can't say they look the comfiest of rides.
Everyone hates Pacers, Carolyne! I was speaking to a train driver at Lincoln today, and I said that we moan about 153's, but at least they are better than pacers. He said yeah, pacers are CR*P!!
Another diesel shunter sitting alongside the works. This has a TOPS number, 08331, also H001 on the cabside, plus what looks like an RFS logo (Rail Freight Services) on the bodyside.
I've just realised that we are missing 91's from this selection. The Shame! There must of been at least one come through whilst you were at Doncaster and Wakefield Alan?
Well, yeah, there were 91's, but I did not bother to photograph any as they are a bit boring after a while Actually there were no trains from the south as there had been a fatality near Stevenage, and trains were held up for quite a while. They started pouring through in quick succession a bit before I left, but it was already getting too dark for photography.
