I have a Digitrax DN163A0 decoder in an Atlas SD-26 (N scale), and only the forward light goes on. When I put it in reverse, the rear light doesn't light. Everything else seems to be working fine. Anyone help???
Check the CV's for the light. You may need to change them to work the way you want. The lights on this board are FX3 and can be configured to work in many different ways. The rear light may come on if you turn it on with a function not just by putting the locomotive in reverse. David
The other suggestion I'd make is to telephone or email the Digitrax technical service folks. I had a few "bugs" and questions when I set my Super Emire and they were most helpful.
Bandguy: Welcome to Trainboard. There was a bad run of these decoders with led problems. I would send it back to Digitrax for replacement. Stay cool and run steam....
