I believe that these units take the DN146A decoder,,,, I have a pair of NS units (B40-8's) that I have not yet converted... Harold [ 15. August 2002, 00:39: Message edited by: chessie ]
I don't know which Lenz decoder goes in them, but I just plucked the shells off of my units, and it appears that the Digitrax DN146A (or its upcoming replacement) is a direct fit. Harold
For future reference go to digitrax site. They show a list of Engine/decoder combos. You can print it.
You can use a Zimo MX62 in any engine as long as there is a little room of: 9/16" x 11/32" x 1/8". It has all the features You want, incl. back EMF, high frequency, FX lighting etc. Art mrsonline.net
Get the Digitrak DN-163A0, it replaces DN-146A. This decoder will have transponding and BEMF (cruise control for trains!). If it isn't out yet, it will be soon. Check with Digitrak.
