Here is one end of my engine terminal: Lots of space but no details. This thread has motivated me to add those details and to finalize the scene. I will post more photos next week. This is a model of the Espee San Antonio engine facility around 1960-1970. The structures are accurate for that time.
Hi Warbonnet: I did scratchbuild my sanding tower and sand house. I used Plastruct beams and stip styrene for the legs and support column. Styrene tubing was used for the top of the tower.
Nice job Bill, very convincing... Flash, what a great facility...look forward to seeing the finished scene. I'll bet you clean the track around the sanding towers VERY carefully!
