I haven't posted anything here in a while so I figured some of you guys might like to see my latest work. I've been spending most of my summer working at Internettrains and catching up on detail parts so I thought it might be fun to work on a few new easy projects and at the same time, take some inventory off Internetrains's hands. My two latest projects (and there are more of this sort coming very soon) are two fully detailed SD70MAC's. I have them up on Ebay because I really don't need them but I would like to hear some feed back..... anything you would change or do differently? Thanks! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=19124&item=3138098990 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=19124&item=3138224264
#3 is up.... So far, my favorite is the TFM followed by the Conrail unit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3138466349
Craig, Being a BN(SF) guy, I'm partial to your LEAST favorite one!!! But they all look very good. I had been trying to send you some suggestions for your site and the submission page never worked, then I realized that I was on an "old" version of your site. What is the correct place to send things to you? I sent it to the webmaster on your current site but now I see you have an AOL address so I was just curious. I have a whole bunch of locomtives (mostly SD70MAC's) that I will soon be detailing and I was wondering which parts I need, especially for the MAC's.
Craig, are you and Mopac-Mitch competing for top-detailer honors? Even if not, you sure have the race at a photo finish! Great work! I haven't detailed anything since finishing the SD90MAC-fuel tender set...
Hemi!! Where's the frame under that tank car? The EPA isn't going to be happy with you when your new SD90MACs crush that frame-less tankcar like a pop can and send diesel fuel rushing out! Looks mighty fine though.
Doug, the correct place to send me an E mail regarding any aspect of detailing would be to my company E mail addy: BLMAinfo@aol.com My new (newest that is) is up to date and can be viewed at: www.geocities.com/nscaleblma/ The reason I say this is that I have heard of quit a few people and I have even received orders from the old website hosted by 50megs.com I cannot remove that site as they changed our pass word and will not answer any E mails about the matter. Anyway, gotta get back to work on the CSX unit....
Thanks Marshall! OK, here is the last detailed engine for a while. It's a CSX SD70MAC. Like with a lot of stuff, the pictures don't do these things justice, they look much better in person.... oh well. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3138639423&ssPageName=ADME:B:LC:US:1 [ 12.
