    Hi there all

is someone has come up with a way of planning a layout for the DCCpp controller by an outsource application? If not has someone made a simple basic layout like an oval or oval with sidings which I may be able to use for a small demo layout based on Base station and DCCpp controller?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions and / or ideas.

    Hi, Manos.

Have you made any progress with this?

I'm new to DCC++ (and DCC in general) and am trying to work through the DCCpp_controller code to understand it.

So far, I've managed to work out how to lay track onto the screen, including having two tracks diverge from one entry point - the beginnings of a Turnout (or Point in the UK). I think I've also worked out how to define the Turnout objects themselves. The next step is to see how to define Routes (based on the Turnouts and normal track that I've already created) but I'm finding this very difficult to understand in the code.

If you would like a copy of a DCCpp_controller script that I've made (including comments!) that shows what I've done, let me know. And if you have found any other information that may help me out, please send me some links!

    Best regards,
    Les

Hi Les and thank you very much for the message and information. Unfortunately I have not had any progress and just thought that an easy solution for me would have been to use Rocrail instead on a Raspberry Pi, a program with which I am familiar. The only thing I have found so far, but not worked on it, was a way to embed sensor use from within the Base Station sketch. Perhaps your attempt will make me do a kick-start as well, hi!
So I would like a copy of your work send to my mail sv1iw[at]raag.org. If you need also what I have found please say so and I will reply to your mail...
