I live in the NOVA area. I'm wondering if there are any good areas to get pictures of CSX trains around. I know that the Alexandria station is one place just wondering if there were other areas. I just want to get some photo's to use in building and weathering equipment. Thanks, Bruce
If you're willing to take a little ride, go up to Brunswick, MD. There's a public parking lot between the eastbound and westbound mains just to the west of the roundhouse. Used to be free parking, don't know now. Used to take the kids up there from Fairfax County. The station at Point of Rocks is also nice as the line splits there.
