Here's a link to the main page: http://www.trainweb.org/csxphotos/ This is a wonderful resource available that showcases every type of CSX locomotive! Harold
Chessie; I just toured those sites of CSX Paint Schemes and it's a blast! Especially seeing how many ex Conrail engines now in Bright Future paint. Great job on these sites! Mike
Harold, Thanks for the links, they are very good. Now maybe I can identify some of the stuff that flies by the house at 50mph By the way, what does the final letter on the newer EMD locos mean? Example: SD-60, SD-60I, SD-60M, etc.? Thanks, Hank
M=Safety cab (wider nose for increased crew safety). I=Isolated cab (whisper cab, it is quieter than the M). AC=AC traction motors (other than standard DC, usually seen as MAC with a safety cab).
Thanks Corey, The isolated (I) cab sounds like a great idea, especially with 6000HP at Run-8 I bet DaveCN would love to drive one of them Is GE making an isolated cab? Hank
