What Kadee couplers are used for the Kato HO C44-9W? It came with horn hooks and they don't cut it. Do I have to modify the body openings to install them?
You might try going to the Kadee website - they list conversions for various locomotives, the KatoC44 may be there....or....hopefully someone here has done the conversion and can help.
I can't recall the Kadee number but I do remember that there is one for it; I changed out a pair awhile back. I also don't remember having to modify the opening
