Nice work Tom!! How would you like a nice long sunny model railroading Vacation in northern Minnesota,Ive got a whole fleet just dying to meet you.
Good work again Tom! I take it that Linde box car is a "plain-jane" Life-Like???? As I'm pretty sure it is (I have a few myself) but that weathering really heaps up the looks of that car! WOW!!! GREAT WORK!
I've noticed from your post that everyone else sells 40' boxcars except Mantua. I checked the few I have and they all say 41'. Just making an observation!! By the way they sure do look great.
Thanks everyone for the compliments. Tileguy Given the past winter we had here in the Philadelphia area heading to northern Minnesota might not be a bad idea. John The Linde boxcar is a Mantua. I have the stock number around somewhere if you want it. I did have several of the Life Like cars in the past but they were destroyed when I moved about 15 years ago. I always had one because a good friend of my parents used to work for Linde. Alcknw I noticed that too. I guess they just had to be different. BTW Has anybody seen or heard anything about the “new” Mantua cars that Model Power is supposed to releasing?
