Hi John, I don't know a company, but I think it was Robert Ray showing us years ago how to do corrugated roofs with 2 screws and aluminium foil.
I don't know of a fence kit, But JTT makes a 1/200 scale textured styrene sheet of corrugated metal. And plastruct makes an N scale styrene sheet. Another possability, Stonebridge used to make an acrylic template for forming steel roofing from heavy foil. I think Anthony still has them. Dan S.
The article that Gerd is talking about can be found here: http://raybob.boche.net/ go to the How To pages. Dan S.
Gerd and Dan - Thanks! Dan - I checked out the link you posted and did not find the article. Yours, John
I found it. It is a link on the page the Dan provided. It is not clear on the page at all. It is a single word "here" in the upper left hand corner of the narrative. Hope this helps.
Are you looking for something like this? http://www.ctd-modellbahn.de/abbildungen/CTD-B8117.jpg It´s BUSCH 8117, N-Scale and about 23 inch long. Greetings Mattias
That is sort of strange. Onthe left hand side of my screen, there is a list of site offerings, including one called "How To Pages". Maybe it has something to do with screen resolution or aspect ratio or browser? Anyway, Flash has probvided a direct link. I tried to do that, but it just kept comingup with just the home page. Robert and Flash - Thanks! Mattias - Thanks but that is a chain link fence, not what I am looking for. Yours, John
John, I did use household aluminium foil, which is used to keep food fresh. I did ribble the foil by rubbing it over the side of a suitable plastic food jar lit. Cut the foil to size, glued it onto a styrene model. I used white wood glue (undiluted). Painted and weathered when dry.
