Even though they are listed as Work Service cars, I still consider them a caboose. Here is #420984 on the tail end of work train WHA-12 on 2005/07/12 at Desjardins (Hamilton sub).
Why would the caboose be used on that train, is there a back-up move which requires it? Good to see a caboose in use, though
Harold, Up here in Canada, we only have snow 9 months of the year, so the caboose is visible at all other times... I am not sure why they chose white - CPR cabooses were tuscan red, then yellow in the "multimark" days. Maybe white to go with the engineering theme - engineers always wear the white hard hats at the job site...? Andrew
