    Niiice!! [IMG]

When you weather it, are you going to leave a clean patch around the number? I've done that on a couple of mine & it gives an interesting hint that it's been re-numbered. [IMG]

There was only a few details to add to this one, along with the scale couplers to replace them awfull ones that came with it.

When you say "scale couplers", are you referring to Kadee's new number 58 couplers (which ARE scale-size), or the ol' reliable number 5?

For my HO roster, it's Kadee or nothing.

Bob, I'll jump in here and say he used the new 58's, as he has been raving about them, and showing me the difference between them and 5's  ;)

They do look better, though. [IMG]

Matt and I are in 100% agreement about the 58s- I've had some of the guys in the Red River club looking at them on some of my rolling stock & wondering how they ever mate with the number 5s. Not a problem at all, and they do look much better, and improve the looks of the rolling stock and diesels.

From now on, I'm buying all the number 58s I can find. That, and metal wheels..........

<font color="336633">Everytime I buy something new I get a pack of 58's to go with it, or when I do another detailing project I get the 58's as part of the detailing parts and as there is 2 pairs in each pack.... it dont seem like I am paying twice for KD's

I have always used metal wheels on my rolling stock tho. But I have recently got some Athearn trucks with the scale tread, and these do look reallllllllllllllly nice when compaired to KD wheels  if I can find enough of them in the UK I may start adding them as well.....
