Ok gang - I've got an undec GP9, and some custom decals, and want to model this guy: What's the best way to lower the headlight assembly? On the Atlas shell, the headlight is in the upper position between the number boards. Should I attempt to move assembly on this shell? Get another shell and use the headlight from it? Get an aftermarket shell? This is my first foray into kitbashing a locomotive . . . . thanks Dave
Shave off the headlight. Plug the two holes. Get a sunrise headlight. Put sunrise headlight in correct spot. Drill new holes. Cut off the 2 light lenses from the numberboard inserts. Mount them on a piece of clear stryene attached to the bottom of the numberboard inserts so they go into the new light. Easy
