So now I put the weathered concrete floor in place. This is .040" thick plastic to sit on top of the MTL ties, against the rail edges and -0.010" below the rail tops. Its a bit too high in some places. The weathered areas indicate heavy foot traffic from soot and diesel. The lighter areas will become materials, equipment and traffic areas.
