Hi group. Breaking in my brand new unit on my small test loop today, I noticed that its left hand ditchlight 's light intensity is far lower that its RH ditchlight and headlight.

Have you guys the same issue with your own units, and if the reply is yes, how did you fix it ? :)

Thank you John. But I don't know which is the proper way for the fiber optic to be.

there is no easy way to to check at the front deck but inside, there is the master light and 2 fibers that go to the ditch lights. DISTANCE is the critical component, but check the alignment too (offset) from the LED.
If you want to know which fiber, shine a light on the front of the loco, offset for the ditch light fiber you are searching for.

Check if one of the fibers is in the wrong possision. The only way to to check it it’s to take shell off
