This is an awesome website to check out, but it is in German. But if you click on "Entwicklungsfotos" and then click on "Entstehungsfotos" it will take you to a page that shows the weekly progress of a GINORMOUS railroad set up. There are other links that take you to the layout plans. I think it's in HO, but it is still inspiring to me as an N-scaler.
oops... forgot the link... http://www.miniatur-wunderland.de/html/index1.htm Here is the link to the website page with all the pictures.
Great site, to bad I can't read German but I enjoyed the photos. [ 20 July 2001: Message edited by: rsn48 ]</p>
Altavista has a translator that you can run the page through. The translation leaves a little to be desired though. I remeber this page came up awhile back and the owner of the page came here and made some comments. He said that they were working on getting it translated to have an English version. I wish I knew what happened to that idea. I just wish I had the time, space and money to do something like that...

Dear Jones, rsn48, guppyman, and Paul. Yes it was alread in February the first post about this incredible layout come to TrainBoard. They have plans for text in English, but obviously they did not manage to do that. They might be fully occupied with the building work because it will be openad around August 16 (that is what is planned). Me and my wife intend to do a visit later on. It might give some more detail to show up here. If you like you can contact the webmaster Stephan Herz at webmaster@miniatur-wunderland.de . You can also add a link to your own site at the wunderland link page, like me. -------- Helge SR&WF NARA member #5
