Interesting...I wonder what is being tested in this photo? It isn't clear what the man is doing, and the car appears nearly full. Definitely not clean laboratory conditions.
Roger, I did not know of a coal laboratory in Terre Haute. That looks like some pretty fine coal. Thanks for more history, and I always enjoy photos of workers doing their jobs.
