With back to back rocket launches over the last two weeks, I haven't had a lot of time (or energy) when I got home to work on the layout. I did manage to carve out an hour tonight and make this little shelf unit to hold my DCC electronics:
You need to replace that peeling P-Touch label. Only becuase everything you've shown us is perfection so far.
Actually, it's a Dymo label and I'm really surprised it's coming off because those labels typically stick (and stay) on everything. I'm guessing it's the slightly bumpy powder coating on the case that it won't adhere to completely. Either way, needs to be replaced
I have Dymo labels on some Floquil jars that had no labels because they came from one of the six-bottle "kits" and they are still stuck after 50 years. The labels are the old raised letter type. Doug
Actually, it's a sandwich if two 3/4 layers and a 1/2 layer to give me a solid 2 inch bench top. Red oak edge banding to dress it up a bit. I have a new edge bench vise to add on using solid maple jaws I'm making from rough stock. Planning to remove a few inches from one end of the bench to accommodate the added width. The bench doubles as an outfeed table for the table saw. One of the first things I built for the shop nine years ago.
